Hello Field Workers – a message from Bryan

It’s that time of year again already, and as you can see, the Gateway Project Management Team has been getting a bit of practice.

We’re about a month late this year because of the weird early spring weather, but the meadow is catching up fast.

Paths will be mowed, and the cuttings need to be cleared. This is where we need your help, the same as last year, and here’s a link to remind you,

https://caerleon-arts.org/2020/05/wildflower-meadow-may-2020/

The cuttings have to be rake up and placed in bulk bags, then hauled to the field corner and emptied it onto the compost heap, which awaits.

I’m sure I don’t have to remind you all to bring your own PPE (including hats, gloves, masks if required, and garden forks).

We will start mowing on Sunday 13th June at 11am and understand that refreshments might be available at the Hanbury afterwards.
