During this very hot week, a group of senior volunteer Caerleon Festival stalwarts gave our wild flower meadow a bit of attention.
Over two sweltering days they cut and cleared pathways around the wildflower borders, sculptures and seating, so that visitors could walk through the meadow and enjoy the wild flowers close up.
A list of all the 34 different plants that have been introduced into the meadow will be on the noticeboard for all to see and find out how many can be spotted using Google Image or apps such as Wild Flower Id.
Please resist the urge to pick, as the flowers are there for all to enjoy.
