THE TREOCHY MALE CHOIR – Review

THE TREOCHY MALE CHOIR Friday 4th November 2022

A seemingly endless list of superlatives springs to mind when reflecting on this memorable evening.  To summarise – The Treorchy Male Choir delivered a world class performance to a capacity audience in Caerleon’s St Cadoc’s Church.  Song, music, poetry, humour were all there to keep everyone captivated from start to finish.

Guest soprano, Lauren Williams, was superb.

Later, the Choir enjoyed a buffet at the Hanbury Arms where to the delight of a packed pub they continued to perform with much audience participation.  An outstanding evening.

Congratulations to the Choir and Lauren Williams.  Big thanks to The Rev. Sue, Chris Purkis & Anne of St. Cadoc’s Church; Katy & Leighton of the Hanbury Arms; and the Caerleon Festival Team especially Lynne Nelmes, Peter Brodie, Greville Hunt, Barbara Gilfillan, Nicola Hunt, Lol Lutman and Carole Russell.
