Caerleon Festival’s Farmers’ Market yesterday t’was an event to whet the appetite for festivities to follow – objective achieved.
Potential difficulties with dates and an absence of pork pies (not (even) a dry pie in the house) were overcome with ease as attention focussed on cheese, cider, preserves and bees. Enthusiastic punters enjoyed the convivial atmosphere of the Town Hall and business was brisk.
A successful day – so congratulations to Lol and Henry for organising the event and thanks to the team for a positive turnout.
