Sŵn y Gân
Sŵn y Gân is one of Wales’ newest choirs. It has existed for just 18 months and now consists of about 35 amateur and semi- professional singers who meet once a week in Griffithstown, Pontypool. They sing a wide range of music – from Disney to Handel; from Sondheim to Radiohead and their concerts range from last October’s ‘Come to the Cabaret’ with an accompanying band, to forthcoming performances at the Caerleon Festival, a lunchtime recital at Bath Abbey and a visit, as guest choir, to Coventry in July.
