Caerleon Festival

Caerleon Festival’s Farmers’ Market Review

Christmas came early to Caerleon.  The Town Hall was a treasury of treats – gastro-goodies and gifts.  Business was brisk.  The Community came together to browse, chat and buy, serenaded by Choir and Harp.

Santa “ho-ho’d” around the Hall to everyone’s delight.  Musicians, seeking refuge from the rain, relocated from the Common and carols were sung by many. A wonderful day with a warm afterglow.

Thanks to all involved in organising and managing a splendid occasion – particularly Lorraine & Henry for management, music & refreshments; Barbara “Raffles”; the “Decs & Tinsel” team; the Set up/Take down team; Chris T. aka Santa C; all our exhibitors; the choirs and musicians; our councillors; Caerleon Tourism Forum; Gary & town hall staff; The Rev. Sue; Friends at the Roman Museum & Baths; sponsors of the Tree on the Common – the list is endless.

Many thanks to the Community of Caerleon – most of whom would seem to have attended!!
