MANIC STREET PREACHERS to SPONSOR the BIG FREE WEEKEND <\/strong>MUSIC STAGE at the HANBURY ARMS. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Caerleon Arts Festival grows in stature by the year and this year it has reached new heights with the Manic Street Preachers<\/strong>, colloquially known as \u201cThe Manics<\/em>\u201d, financially sponsoring the stage at the Hanbury Arms in support of the Caerleon Festival musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Manic Street\nPreachers<\/strong> is a Welsh alternative rock band who, having formed in Blackwood in\n1986 presently have a local recording studio, so therefore\ncan be considered one of our own. Thirty-three years since forming, they\nstill retain a loyal following and a cult status, with yet another sell-out\ntour taking place this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Throughout their career, The Manics<\/em> have headlined many Festivals, including Glastonbury, T in the Park, V Festival and Reading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
