CAERLEON FESTIVAL FIELD PRESENTS . . . . .
2017 sees the return of many old favourites and a few new faces. We are blessed in having around us so many talented and gifted individuals who can bring to us such a wealth of beautiful and practical items to adorn our homes, gardens and even ourselves. Come and see the World in microcosm – items from the Silk Road and darkest Africa, food from Portugal and Wales, blacksmiths demonstrating their individual skills, and a glance back into history with Silurian warriors who will teach youngsters of all ages the arts of Celtic warfare. And if that was not enough we have entertainment with live bands, singers and dancers, and craft skills being offered by our local nurseries. Come along with all the family and make this a super Summer’s day out.
You will meet: Lou – local craftswoman who sells wool online and with her mum Brenda can also be found making clothing together and embellishing clothing with embroidery and felt. They are creative partners, inspiring and encouraging each other over the years.
