LENKE, is a Drumming performance group that grew out of the West African Drumming Class held on Tuesday Lunchtime at Hannah’s Music shop, Chepstow.
West African Drumming uses the traditional Djembe and Dun Dun drums and the group is named after the African tree that the finest Djembe drums are made of. The class has been running for several years and its members come from Gwent, Monmouthsire and Gloucestershire.
