Velha Bataria is a Community Samba Drumming Band based in Newport with over 25 members. They run Samba workshops on Tuesdays and on Wednesdays in Chepstow and Ponthir.
They have featured on many TV/Radio shows and played over 50 concerts across the UK.
Velha Bataria is sponsored by Chepstow Council and Monmouthshire Housing.
