Henllys Pipes & Drums & The Blues Sisters feel honoured to be asked to play at the opening ceremony of the Caerleon Festival.
Henllys Pipes & Drums was formed in October 2018 with just 5 members.
The band is now made up of 26 members of all ages, the youngest being 8 the oldest 68. It embraces people of all standards, from complete beginners to experienced musicians.
The band plays traditional Great Highland Bagpipe music and attends events of all sorts – carnivals, fetes, festivals, weddings and family parties.
The Blues Sisters, a unique 3-part girl harmony group, backed by an accomplished band of musicians will perform after the opening music of swing, rock n’ roll, rhythm & blues music together with a mix of covers & original material.
After reforming in 2018 The Blues Sisters have since performed at many festivals & gigs.
