Caitlin Mae, 16yrs old, has been twice runner up (vocals) at the Welsh Factor National Finals and winning her category in Caerphilly’s Young Contemporary Musician of the Year.
She is a passionate and talented young vocalist and actress whose aim is to follow a career within the creative arts sector.
Summer/Autumn 2018 was a truly amazing one for her, winning the title of Supporting Actress for Teen Comedy for her performance in “Almost Never” joining Fleur East and Emily Atack. She spent a number of days filming in Cardiff for this programme meeting some amazing people along the way.
Even more exciting was that Caitlin Mae was selected as one of the 18 teenagers to film “Teen Taxi” with Dragonfly Productions. She had immense fun with this project and it can be viewed on BBC iplayer with season 2 soon to be released.
A natural and effervescent performer, Caitlin Mae loves supporting charities in her local area. Currently an Ambassador for Welsh Hearts, she often performs at their fund raising events. A strong advocate against bullying in schools, after experiencing it herself, resulting in her being home-schooled in her final GCSE year. She enjoys inspirational speaking on this subject whenever she gets the opportunity and is proud to have been asked to speak at a recent Go Girl Academy event.
Caitlin Mae has been fortunate enough to perform across the UK from Milton Keynes to Hereford at various events and festivals including an event on Princess Anne’s Country Estate.
