St Cadoc’s Caerleon Bell Ringers
Demonstrations on the art of bellringing, using a mobile tower, will be provided by the St. Cadoc’s Church bell ringers, supported by ringers from local towers in the area. There will also be opportunities throughout the weekend to try your hand at bellringing.
The Charmborough mobile belfry has six bells that are rung in the same way as those in churches and cathedrals throughout the country. It offers a unique opportunity to see the workings of the bells close up.
Ringing is open to all ages from 9 to 90 and you don’t need to be mathematical or musical. It is open to people of all faiths or no faith.
Ringing is a fun, unique hobby that offers not only physical exercise, but also mental agility and working as part of a team.
