i.a.t.B Ensemble

Ensemble i.a.t.B was founded in 2010 as a mixed wind and brass group, drawing on players from Gloucestershire and South Wales, with the aim of performing a wide range of music of varying genres. They are well remembered for their performance in St. Cadoc’s church in December 2018.

Whilst the members of  i.a.t.B Ensemble can be regularly found throughout the South West performing with Symphony Orchestras, Chamber Groups, Pit and Show Orchestras, Jazz & Swing bands, the group gives the players a chance to explore new musical avenues and develop their own ideas. The addition of bass guitar and percussion has broadened the repertoire still further, spanning 500 years, from music attributed to Henry VIII, through the Classical and Romantic eras right up to our take on 80’s power ballads and contemporary pop. Throw in a touch of Trad Jazz, Klezmer music and Modern Contemporary Chamber works, and you have the ingredients for a totally different and eclectic musical evening!

The members of the Ensemble are:

Helen Harper (flute, piccolo)

Anne-Marie Kok (flute, piano)

Katy Hewson (clarinet)

Carolyn Ford (bass clarinet)

Steve Harper (trumpet, flugelhorn)

Andy Farrington (trumpet, bass guitar)

Mark Rogers (percussion)
