Hello again Field Workers

Gateway Project Management Team

It’s that time of year yet again, and as you can see, the Team can’t wait! The meadow is nice and dry, and ready for trimming.

Paths will be mowed, and the cuttings need to be cleared and this is where we need your help, the same as last year, and here’s a link to remind you,

https://caerleon-arts.org/2021/06/a-days-work-in-the-field-on-a-very-hot-day/

The weather won’t be quite as hot, just 18 degrees with a gentle cooling breeze.

The cuttings have to be raked up and placed in bulk bags and hauled to a corner of the field to be emptied onto the compost heap which awaits.

I’m sure I don’t have to remind you to bring your own PPE including hats, gloves, masks if required, and garden forks.

We plan to start mowing on Sunday 15th May at 11am.

It is understood that refreshments might be available at the Hanbury afterwards!!

Cheers

Bryan Dale
