THE CAERLEON FESTIVAL – THE WAIT IS OVER
From the 6th to the 16th JULY enjoy all the Festival has to offer.
Friday 6th – Shakespeare’s “THE WINTER’S TALE” with CHOIR (Monmouthshire & Newport Community) in the AMPHITHEATRE – picnic or enjoy the Priory buffet bar.
Saturday 7th – “LIT ON THE LAWN” – Authors & poets in the Festival Marquee, Priory Hotel, with comedy at night – Murray Lachlan YOUNG & Mab JONES.
Sunday 8th – “THE GATECRASHERS“ at the St. Julian Inn – Free.
Monday 9th – “So long, FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT“ – a tribute to “The man who built America” with renowned Caerleon architect, Jonathan Adams and other experts at the Priory – Free.
AND in the evening – “THE COLLECTIVE” big band in the Marquee.
Tuesday 10th – “SPELLBOUND” at the White Hart – Free.
Wednesday 11th – the “MORRISTON ORPHEUS CHOIR with CHLOE ANGHARAD MORGAN in St. Cadoc’s Church.
Thursday 12th – the “APPLE TREE THEORY” band at the R.F.C. Club – Free.
Friday 13th – “THE RED HOT POKERS” in the Bell Inn marquee.
SATURDAY 14th AND SUNDAY 15th – “THE BIG FREE” –
MUSIC/BANDS – too many to mention – both banks of the Usk – HANBURY Quayside, the BELL Inn and ARTS/CRAFTS/SCULPTURE FAIR & entertainment in the MEADOW. – Yes FREE!
Also Children’s Art in the Church Hall and for 7-17 year olds Christian Malcolm Sports Academy at the Rugby Club.
