I’ve been lucky enough to have an involvement with the Caerleon Arts Festival since 2006, (though I started taking photos from 2007).
This small, but growing festival is organised by a team of hard-working, dedicated volunteers & punches way above its weight!
Featuring many local & international arts/artists, from the worlds of sculpture and drama, through to choirs and live music, this beautiful village on the bank of the Usk River near Newport, comes alive during July. There are performances scattered throughout the year, but this gallery mostly captures the spirit of the BIG Free Weekend, where arts and crafts stalls can be found on the field, whilst dancers and musicians perform, mainly at the Hanbury Arms, The Ship Inn and The Bell.
