FARMERS CHRISTMAS MARKET ’16

Gloom and rain did not deter – they came in search of “bounty” and were not disappointed.

Cheese, cakes, confection and curry; Italian, Thai, Welsh and honey; veg. preserves and pies; beer and ale both dark and pale; cider and wine well mulled; crafts in silver, steel, fabric and wood: wherever you looked there was something good, including gifts from the bee; carols and brass band inside; outside the Christmas tree.

Congrats. to all for the planning, preparation, execution and teamwork, especially Lorraine and Henry for management and music.

Thanks to Cllr. Debbie Wilcox, Leader of the Council, for announcing “It’s Christmas” and awarding a prize from the Celtic Manor Resort Hotel to “Flaunt” for the best shop display.

On this third Sunday in Advent – Cheers

Tim Davidson Chair
